Winn Brothwood

Interviewed by Dianne Yarwood at her home in Great Barford on 24 August 2016. Winn was born in 1922 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, the youngest of three daughters.

Berenice Pridham

Berenice was interviewed by Dianne Yarwood at her home in Bideford on 5 September 2016. Berenice was born at Petrockstowe in North Devon on 13 March 1919. She began nurse training in 1938. She spent ten years working in Africa from 1954 to 1964 before returning to Devon to work as a Health Visitor.
